#Our speakers

Karin has been Chief Sustainability Officer at Volvo Group since April 2022. She leads the company’s sustainability transition towards a fossil-free future – through a unique approach to cross-sectoral partnership and an ambition to drive sustainable solutions and practices across the supply chain. Her expertise plays a key role in helping Volvo move closer to 100% fossil free vehicles by 2040 while inspiring other industry players to enhance their own decarbonization journey. Prior to this, she held various managerial positions at Volvo Group since 1996, lately as Senior Vice President Public Affairs (2018-2022). She has also held roles as Vice President Group Strategy, President Volvo Technology North America and a number of positions in Research & Development.

MSc Environmental Engineering, Head of Strategic Engagement & Partnerships at UN GC Network Sweden. Experience within sustainability both as a consultant and as an internal specialist within companies. UN GC Network Sweden is Sweden’s largest sustainability network, consisting of 580+ members and working to advance sustainable business within Sweden.

Darinka Georgieva is the Еxecutive Director of the Bulgarian Network of United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). She works to promote the social responsibility of the business, the implementation of the Ten Principles and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Global Compact.
Darinka is a Master of Laws with extensive experience in managing projects related to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, gained in her work for the UN Development Programme, Overgas and the UN Global Compact Network Bulgaria.

Daniela Sokolova is Director Governance, Risk and Compliance at Telelink Business Services Group. She discovered her passion for processes more than 25 years ago and since then her career has been related to process management, risk and compliance in various industries, including business process outsourcing and telecoms. She joined Telelink Business Services Group 7 years ago and the GRC department that she leads is responsible for compliance with the requirements of the applicable legislation, including CSRD, ESRS, GDPR, Whistleblowing Directive, applicable ISO standards, customer and partner requirements.
Daniela finds real pleasure in teaching and believes that motivation can only come from outside through inspiration, so she tries to share life experiences, presenting everyday themes and emotions in stories about clouds, knights and princesses, which she publishes on her personal blog.

Iskra is the Co-founder and Managing Director of uIMPACT, Bulgaria. Her passion for sustainable
development dates back to Kyoto Protocol projects. She has vast experience in tech and B2B
domains, as well as in a Fund of Funds, and has managed teams of up to 250 people.
