The new Voluntary Reporting Standard for Small- and Medium Enterprises

 VSME has been adopted on July 31, 2025.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of sustainable economic growth, yet often face challenges on their sustainability journey. That’s why the UN Global Compact created SPARK – a global community offering free, practical guidance for UNGC members to accelerate impact.

In this webinar, we will take a closer look at the newly adopted VSME Standard – the European Commission’s voluntary ESG reporting framework for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Designed for companies with fewer than 250 employees, it provides a simple, practical and proportional approach to sustainability reporting, helping SMEs:

✔️ Improve access to financing through ESG transparency
