Driving Integrated and Effective Human Rights Due Diligence and Reporting

Sustainability Regulation Clinic is designed to help companies prepare for the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and build an integrated approach to sustainability due diligence and reporting. The programme goes beyond interpreting individual regulatory requirements, focusing instead on practical, efficient approaches that can be embedded across the organisation.

Led by Shift, the clinic combines dedicated online sessions, practical tools and materials, expert insights, peer learning and bilateral engagement. Participants will explore the practical implications of the CSDDD alongside other key EU requirements, including the EU Forced Labour Regulation (EUFLR) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

The seven-session programme is structured in three phases: understanding the requirements, creating an effective and integrated framework, and putting it into practice. Participants will gain greater clarity on regulatory expectations, strengthen internal alignment across functions and identify practical priorities for the next stage of their due diligence journey.

The clinic is aimed primarily at companies in scope of the CSDDD that are moving towards operationalising sustainability due diligence requirements and already have experience with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and OECD Guidelines. Companies outside the scope of the CSDDD that are interested in good-practice approaches are also welcome.

The clinic will run in two editions:

October 2026 – February 2027

and

March–June 2027,

with sessions held online every two weeks.
